Paulina Noel
As a single mother returning to the work force after many years, Paulina Noel needed her undergraduate degree in order to be competitive in the tough job market. However, finding the financial means to finish her education and still support herself and her daughter proved to be a challenge. Read more.
Amy Cavazos
For Amy Cavazos, being at Mason is a full-time job. Literally. She is an administrative assistant with the Initiatives in Educational Transformation program at Mason in addition to working to complete her master’s degree in education with a concentration in early childhood education. Read more.
Mike Pollack
Mike Pollock wanted to find a college that was both close to home and highly respected. For him, Mason was a perfect fit. He committed himself to paying for his education without family support, working close to 40 hours a week to cover living expenses, and relying on his scholarship from the Mason General Scholarship Fund to help with tuition. More Opportunities for Support:
Donors can make an immediate difference to Mason students through scholarship support and graduate and undergraduate research fellowships. Endowments for student scholarships begin at $25,000 and include scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students as well as in-state and out-of-state students.
