As a donor to Mason, we want you to have the satisfaction of knowing your gift is making a difference. Whether it’s seeing your name in the Honor Roll of Donors or even on a named building, classroom, or faculty chair, reading stories on Gifts in Action or attending a special event, we appreciate your donation.
Depending on your gift(s), you could qualify to be in one of our giving societies. These include:
George Mason Society: The university’s most generous benefactors, individuals in this society have made lifetime commitments exceeding $100,000 to Mason. Members receive recognition in publications and at exclusive special events.
President’s Circle: Individuals whose generosity to Mason totals $1,000 or more during the fiscal year (July 1-June 30) are recognized through this prestigious annual giving society. Alumni awarded their baccalaureate during the decade prior to the current fiscal year and who make gifts or pledges in the $500 or more are also recognized in this category. President’s Circle members receive recognition in publications and at exclusive special events.
Legacy Society: Those who make deferred or planned gifts, such as bequests, annuities, or trusts, are recognized through the Legacy Society. Members receive recognition in publications, including the biannual Legacy Society newsletter, and at exclusive special events.
