Dear New Student:
Congratulations
on being admitted to our Graduate Program and welcome to ICAR!
This fall, we will
be welcoming some new faculty, including the new Rice Chair for Conflict
Analysis and Resolution, as well as a new cadre of students.
The Orientation
Committee for new students has put together a lot of information for
you. It details the components of the orientation process, which is
designed to introduce you to the ICAR community and curricular requirements.
Do read through all of it. If you have questions, please contact Doja
Eralp, Orientation Coordinator, at ueralp@gmu.edu. Do also get in touch
with your advisor as soon after August 18th as possible. Your advisor's
name will be sent to you by mid-June.
If you are going
to be in the area during the summer you are welcome to drop in and meet
those of us who are around. Otherwise, we do look forward to welcoming
you into the ICAR community and will see you in the Fall!
