attempting to answer the question; was justice done? The students in section

"United States vs. Jay E. Lentz" |
| This project was about a husband who shot his wife in the face at pointblank range after his wife met his fiance. Mr. Johnson was a top ranked secret service official who planned to marry his mistress even though he did not file for divorce from his wife. Despite his actions, he got off with only four years and was guilty of only malicious wounding because his wife pleaded on the mercy of the court to keep her husband.

While on patrol, two Fairfax County police officers conduct a "Terry Stop". One of the suspects flees the officers and is later apprehended. Arrests produce a handgun and drugs. The case questions the admissibility of the officer's "Terry Stop".

Former Naval Intelligence Officer Jay Lentz was accused of luring his ex-wife Doris across state lines to pick up her daughter. Doris has never been seen from again. After her blood-stained car was found, Jay was arrested on charges of kidnapping. The issue in the case is the motive and evidence. This case has not been decided and Jay Lentz has been in jail since April 2001. |
