Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) is a two day, 12-hour Women's Self Defense course offered FREE to university affiliates to include students, faculty, and staff. Non-GMU affiliates may participate for a $50.00 fee. Please see below for more information.

RAD is free to all GMU students, faculty, and staff. Non-GMU
affiliates can participate in the course for a fee of $50.00.
Please make checks payable to: GMU Foundation
Please arrive early to check-in and submit payment prior to the
beginning of the first class.

To find out when future RAD classes will be held, please call 703-993-2800. You may speak to someone to register for the class or if you have additional questions. RAD can also be reached by e-mail at rad@gmu.edu. You may also stop by the University Police Department located in front of the Rappahannock River Deck and speak to someone in person.
