Misson
Student Academic Affairs, Advising and Retention (SAAAR) is committed to providing students with the tools that will help them to achieve academic success. SAAAR serves the diverse student population by recognizing the uniqueness of each student and by fostering growth in a supportive, student-development oriented environment. SAAAR also serves as a centralized resource that provides current and accurate information and guidance to the university community.
Population
SAAAR achieves this mission by providing an inclusive and supportive environment for undergraduate students in the following groups:
- undeclared no-preference
- non-degree
- pre-health professional students
- new freshman and transfers
- students in transition
