LaNitra Berger

LaNitra Berger is the Director of Postgraduate Fellowships and the Undergraduate Apprenticeship Program. She received her Ph.D. in Art History from Duke University and a B.A. in International Relations and Art from Stanford University. Dr. Berger has received fellowships to complete doctoral research in Germany and South Africa. Prior to coming to Mason, she served as Director of Leadership and International Programs at the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education. Dr. Berger has served on several advisory panels and commissions to help colleges and universities internationalize. She is also a member of the British Council's Transatlantic Network 2020. In addition, she continues her scholarly work by contributing to journals such as the Journal of Jewish Identities, the Southern California Quarterly, and the Women's History Review.
