About George Mason University International Week

Parade Preparations

International Week is a well established tradition at George Mason University to celebrate the presence of the university's international and multicultural student population. For immigrant students International Week at Mason provides an opportunity to share their cultural heritages. Many of Mason's students are involved in more than 30 International/Multicultural Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) in the Office of Student Involvement. These organizations cover a variety of ethnic groups, and a number of these organizations sponsor International Week events. Students participate in a variety of programs happening during the week from cricket tournament and dance competition to the culture nights. Good ethnic food and superlative international music and dance performances draw attention of the local community since the very inception of the International Week.
