Welcome!
We are pleased to announce Sexual Assault Services (SAS) has merged with The Office of Alcohol, Drug and Health Education (ADHE) to become Wellness, Alcohol and Violence Education and Services (WAVES). The focus of the office will be empowering students as they develop the capacity to grow to their full potential while reaching optimal wellness and well-being. The mission of WAVES is to promote wellness within the Mason community through health education, alcohol/drug assessment and education, and violence awareness, prevention and response. We help students make healthy, safe choices and encourage lifelong, thoughtful healthy decision-making through individualized support, creative programming, and evidence-based education and outreach.
The services WAVES provides to survivors of sexual violence remain the same, only our name has changed.
