Judicial Procedures
University Judicial Procedures:
For students who have been the victims of stalking, sexual violence, or dating/partner violence and the perpetrator is also a Mason student, university judicial procedures are another option. Going through the university judicial process is not the same as filing a police report, and does not mean the University Police or any other law enforcement will become involved.
The University's Judicial System for Student Conduct has the duty to investigate incidents of alleged sexual assault. Students may choose to pursue resolution on campus by filing formal charges with the Office of Judicial Affairs. For a description of the campus-based resolution process through the Office of Judicial Affairs or for more information about the Judicial process, please refer to the Office of Judicial Affairs.
