Please place all recyclables in appropriate containers. Please be sure cans and bottles are clean and dry and completely empty.

Please do not put napkins, paper cups, styrofoam cups, container caps, cigarette butts, and packing peanuts into recycling bins. THANK YOU!

Cardboard

ALL corrugated boxes and most other cardboard containers (i.e., cereal boxes, clean pizza boxes, etc.) 

Please be sure they are clean and flat. Place with blue recycling containers. If you have a large amount, please call 993-3671 for a special pick up or send an email to rbaxter1@gmu.edu

Glass Containers 

ALL colors accepted and need not be seperated. Please place in containers marked for glass, plastic, or cans.

Please empty out all remaining fluids and rinse when possible. Do not place in paper containers! 

Metal Cans

ALL cans must be clean, dry, and empty. Please place in containers labeled for cans!

Plastic Containers 

#1 (PETE): includes soft-drink bottles #2 (HDPE): includes milk & juice bottles and detergent jugs 

CHECK THE CODE ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR CONTAINER, IT MUST READ #1 or #2

any newspaper quality paper (i.e., moving paper, packaging paper, etc.)
