Yong J. Yoon
Senior Research Scholar
Yong
J. Yoon is Senior Research Scholar at the Center for Study of Public Choice
at George Mason University. Yoon has previously been a faculty member
at University of Missouri and he was Econmist at Public Service Commission
at Washington,DC. Yoon received his Ph.D in economics from Northwestern
Unversity, Kellogg Graduate School of Mangement. He also hold a degree
in mathematics and B.S. in chemical engineering from Seoul National Unviersity,
Seoul, Korea.
His major fields of interest are public choice, voting theory, and constitional
economics for non-American polity. He coauthored with James M. Buchanan
The Return to Increasing Returns, and translated into Korean Ludwig von
Mises's book, Econmic Freedon and Interventionism. He wrote articles for
newspapers and magazines on political economy issues. His curren research
project include a proposed constitution for North Korea and a book of
supporting essays. His C.V. includes
