Working with the Mercatus
Center, the James Buchanan Center financially supports graduate students
in several degree programs at George Mason
University. Center students share a keen interest in learning to apply
economics to critical problems facing society.

Center offers research assistantships to students in several George
Mason M.A. or Ph.D. degree programs, including Economics
and Public Policy.

assistance, send a complete copy (not the original) of your George Mason
University graduate application to Peter Boettke at the Department of
Economics, MSN 3G4, Fairfax, VA 22030. (faxed copies are also acceptable:
703-993-1133). This should include your statement of research interest,
GRE scores, and transcripts. Ask your graduate department or program to
send us a copy of the letters of recommendation submitted in support of
