Special Collections & Archives (SC&A) preserves
and provides access to many kinds of original scholarly material.
Subject areas in SC&A include Northern Virginiana, Planned Community
Archives, Congressional Papers, Performing Arts, Maps, the Civil War,
and George Mason University. A quiet reading room is available for
the dedicated researcher to use SC&A's collections.
Duplication
Services:SC&A provides duplication services for selected
materials. These services include audio and video duplication, photocopying,
and laser printed reproductions.
Records
Mangement:SC&A also provides Records Management, which
is available to assist university departments with the retention and
disposition of all of their temporary university records. Records
Management provides online resources to assist university staff in
preparing their records for storage
University
Dissertation Thesis Services assists students with the formatting
and final processing of their dissertation or thesis. As part of this
service UDTS also conducts several workshops each semester and provides
online resources to guide graduate students through the process.
