Early Identification Program

The Early Identification Program (EIP) is an innovative, multi-year college preparatory program for high school students. Program activities are free and held on the Fairfax and Prince William Campuses of George Mason University.

Earth Observing and Space Research (CEOSR), Center for

The center was established at George Mason University to provide a focus for research done from satellite platforms. Site includes project information, faculty and student links, and CEOSR's strategic plan.

Economics Department

This site provides information about the graduate and undergraduate Economics programs, extensive faculty bios, links to economic policy groups, and a departmental bulletin board.

Education, Graduate School of

The Graduate School of Education is a professional school dedicated to the improvement of educational theory and practice through teaching, research, and professional service. This site contains several links, including Mission Statement, Weekly Newsletter, Search GSE, Faculty, Programs of Study, Centers, Dean's Office, and GSE Web Courses. It also contains a link for education-related resources.

Electrical and Computer Engineering Department

This departmental site has information on degree programs, courses, research, and faculty, as well as links to ECE course web pages.

Electronic Publications (Now Web Communications)

A division of University Relations that develops web sites for the Mason web site. Additionally, WebComm maintains the Mason homepage, "The Mason Gazette," and "Today at Mason." This division provides assistance with departmental web development and develops multimedia web enhancement for marketing and publicity purposes.

English Department

This site, maintained by the English department, includes a schedule of undergraduate and graduate courses, a checklist for English majors, faculty photos, and links to related websites such as The Writing Center and the Graduate Creative Writing Program.

English Language Institute

The English Language Institute provides its students with instruction in English as a second language to help develop language and academic skills, as well as cultural awareness. The institute helps international students with transition to life in the United States. The site contains links to student services, a typical daily schedule for an ELI student, information on admission to the institute, etc. It also includes links to ESL instructors at the institute and a few specialized lessons designed by ELI teachers.

Entrepreneurship Center

The Entrepreneurship Center is a university-based economic development enterprise established in 1985. Its mission is to provide university services and resources to assist businesses. The site contains links to a calendar, to a listing of press releases and features, and to a listing of the entrepreneurial topics on which the center provides training and information. It also contains links to detailed descriptions of the services it offers.


Enironmental Awareness Club

Environmental Health and Safety Office

The Environmental Health and Safety Office staff provides guidance and direction in all areas of the university safety program. These areas include occupational safety and health, environmental control, fire safety, safety-oriented training programs, building and equipment safety and risk management.

Environmental Science and Policy Department

The Department of Environmental Science and Policy offers an undergraduate B.A. in Geology, the M.S. and Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Policy, and undergraduate and graduate certificates in environmental management.

Equity Office

The purpose of the University Equity website is to help individuals understand the university's obligations and efforts to promote university-wide civility. This website is a source of information and referral for individuals who want to learn more about affirmative action/equal opportunity and policies, procedures, regulations and laws prohibiting discrimination and/or harassment based on race, color, national origin, religion (employees), sex, sex orientation, age, disability and veteran status. Most of the important information every student, staff and faculty member should know can be found on this website.

Office of Events Management. This site is dedicated to the management of University events, including commencement, conferences, and more.

Events Production

This site provides information about Events Production (EP) and on-line scheduling of EP services. Events Production provides technical support for events at George Mason. Support includes sound reinforcement, lighting, video and teleconference feeds, press feeds, and custom system design.
