BOV Executive Committee Announced At its last meeting, the Board of Visitors announced the membership of the Executive Committee. Members are Rector Edwin Meese, III, Vice Rector Scott McGeary, Secretary Horace Cooper, Joann P. DiGennaro, and Edwin J. Feulner, Jr. According to board bylaws, the Executive Committee is made up of the three board officers and two elected members. The committee is empowered to transact board business if the whole board is in recess. However, it only handles issues that need immediate attention. It also coordinates the policy development and the planning activities of all the board committees, and is responsible for recommending to the board an overall plan for growth and development of the university. All board members may participate in its meetings, but only committee members may vote.
