    CSSA currently deploys two Email lists:
      "CSSA-L@mail04.gmu.edu" &
      "CSSA_GMU@yahoogroups.com"
    The first one is open to everyone who wants to send out a group message, such as housing ad, employments, or local events, however, you have to subscribe that Email list before receiving group messages. The other Email list (latter one) is for official organization announcements only.

    * To subscribe CSSA-L@mail04.gmu.edu, send an Email with your full name and Email address to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.gmu.edu, and copy following into the first line of your Email content:
       SUBSCRIBE CSSA-L Anonymous

    * To subscribe CSSA_GMU@yahoogroups.com, enter your Email address in the form provided on the left column of this page. Then follow the instruction in the confirmation Email.

    Acknowledgement on House-searching.

    Numbers of students have reached us or been referred to us in regards of house-searching. The CSSA can provide information on important housing criteria and useful searching techniques, however, does NOT involve in actual searching or contacting process. Thereby, we have no guarantee on neither providing nor finding housing places for new students.

    Provided that you have settled with a housing place before coming to the U.S., CSSA may then schedule airport pick-up service under your request. The address and contact person of the housing place must be enclosed with your request.

    Useful tips on finding the right off-campus housing place:
    ·Sign up the CSSA Email list service: so you can receive housing-rental info from over 800 local Chinese students, scholars, and professionals every week. (Subscription procedures in "New Student Check List")
    ·Send a Housing Request Email through the CSSA mail list: let people know your housing needs in one simple, fast way. Write the Email to

    ·Log onto GMU Off-campus Housing Database: search through hundreds of thousands house- rental listings in a few clicks at och.gmu.edu.
