Eligibility Requirements

• Major must fall within GMU’s Department of Public and International Affairs
• Must have completed 12 credits within the department; transfer credits not included
• Must have completed, or are currently taking GOVT 300
• Must be a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the Major
• Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher overall
• Must pay a onetime $65.00 lifetime membership fee

Download Application: Please click here download the membership form if you meet the above requirements and are interested in becoming a member of Pi Sigma Alpha. Please print the application off, fill it out, and enclose in an envelope with a check for $65 then drop it off in the Pi Sigma Alpha mailbox in the PIA Office.  You will receive a confirmation email once it has been verified that you meet all the requirements and have submitted the proper fee.  If upon further review, you do not meet the requirements, the check you submitted will be returned.
