Got Conflict? We Can Help!

picture

UDRP: the University Dispute Resolution Project is a student-run organization that helps members of the George Mason University community deal with interpersonal and organizational conflict. UDRP is a volunteer organization relying on the hard work and enthusiasm of many students, both graduate and undergraduate. Any member of the GMU community may become a member or make use of UDRP services.

Regarding conflict, UDRP's working philosophy is that:
  • Conflict will happen.
  • Conflict can be positive and constructive.
  • There are many ways to deal with conflict.
  • Dealing with conflict in a positive way is a useful life skill.
UDRP members provide assistance and support to those seeking a non-adversarial way of overcoming differences and disagreements. As part of its mission, UDRP offers mediation and facilitation services and training and can provide speakers and trainers to groups interested in developing conflict resolution skills.
