Co-sponsored by Amnesty International Community Group 159; Amnesty International’s student group at George Mason University, Fairfax Campus; and the ACLU and American Constitution Society student organizations at George Mason University Law School. ACS to Host Senator Charles Robb
When: Tuesday, March 22, 2006, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: Room 221 of the law school
Government agencies are rapidly changing their policies in response to the evolving nature of the threats posed by international actors such as rogue states and terrorist organizations. Senator Robb will discuss legal issues related to the needs and demands of the national security and intelligence communities as they adjust to these new circumstances. Senator Robb currently serves on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board and is a Distinguished Professor of Law & Public Policy at George Mason. This is an "off the record” event and there will be no press coverage.

George Mason School of Law chapter of the American
Constitution Society (ACS). Formed in Spring 2001, The American Constitution
Society for Law and Policy is a national organization of law students,
law professors, practicing lawyers and others. The ACS was founded with
the aim to help revitalize and transform the legal debate, from law school
classrooms to federal
courtrooms.
The George Mason University School of Law
Chapter of The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy is a
progressive student organization chartered in accordance with the regulations
of the George Mason University School of Law (GMUSL). The Chapter promotes,
honors, respects, and supports the Constitution of the United States
of America.
