The American Criminal Justice Association Lambda Alpha Epsilon (LAE), founded in 1937, is a national organization that is divided into six regions. The organization has a long and distinguished history. Its membership is made up of students and professionals in criminal justice.
Membership in the chapter and organization is open to Administration of Justice majors, minors and professionals in the field. The purpose of the organization is to further professionalism in all areas of criminal justice. .
At George Mason University, the Gamma Mu chapter is involved in the Victims' Rights Run, hosting career panels, homicide presentations, and so much more.
