Eligibility for Membership
Beta Gamma Sigma chapters are permitted to offer membership to the top ten percent of undergraduates and the top twenty percent of graduate students. Here are the detailed eligibility criteria for the George Mason University chapter:
MBA, EMBA, MS in Accounting, and MS in Technology Management
- Graduating in May or August (spring semester invitations)
- Graduating in January (fall semester invitations)
- Cumulative GPA In the top twenty percent of the 2009-2010 academic year graduates. The exact GPA cutoff varies from year to year, but is usually approximately 3.8.
Bachelor of Science
- BS Status in SOM
- At least 75 credits earned toward the BS degree (spring semester invitations)
- Graduating in January (fall semester invitations)
- At least 14 credits earned at George Mason University
- Cumulative GPA in the top ten percent of the class. The exact GPA cutoff varies from year to year, but is usually between 3.6 and 3.7.
You do not need to apply for membership in order to be considered. If you meet the qualifications, we will provide an invitation to join.
