The Caribbean is made up of numerous countries and even more islands. The islands were born of the warm tropical sun and clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Our people, however, are mainly settlers from as many varied and unique cultures as there are grains of sand on our beaches. We are European, Asian, Latino, Mid-Eastern and African. We speak French, Dutch, Spanish and English; and those are only our official languages.
Though we look different and our flags fly different colors, we are united by the beat of our music. Our music is our pulse that erases all our differences and whose beat binds us together as a family. We now share this beat with you, our family away from home....
