Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy

The Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy (CEBCP) seeks to make scientific research a key component in decisions about crime and justice policies. The CEBCP carries out this mission by advancing rigorous studies in criminal justice and criminology through research-practice collaborations, and proactively serving as an informational and translational link to practitioners and the policy community. CEBCP was founded in 2008 and is the home of Translational Criminology Magazine.

Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence!

The Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence! (ACE!) focuses on collaborative and creative research to advance evidence-based practices. An action research model is the foundation of many of our projects. Action research focuses on assisting those in the field with using data to continuously improve practices and treatments aimed at increasing public safety. We work with our partners in crafting new policies focused on preventing criminal behavior instead of simply responding to it.
