Please note the following new rules that are now in effect:

  • Pets are not allowed in the park on regatta days, except animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities.

  • Be prepared to walk. The parking lots, boathouses, and racecourse are spread over 100 acres. Trails range from 3/10th of a mile to 1/2 mile. No bikes are allowed on the trails.

  • If you require special accomodtions please contact the park at least 10 days in advance of the event for an Americans with Disabilites application. We do have handicap parking area for those with DMV tags.

  • On most regatta days there will be a van service to take you to the grandstand area. There is a fee for riding the van.

  • On championship days you may be parked off-site and have to ride a shuttle bus to the regatta site.

  • No one may spend the night in the park.

  • No one may cook food in the park without prior approval from park management.

  • Unless you have a pass, you will be charged an admission fee to enter the park on regatta days.

  • If you are dropping off rowers, food or equipment, you must follow the directions of the parking crew. You may not be able to drive into the park and will nee to carry what you have.

  • On extremely busy days, if you are picking someone up from the park, you may have to park and then walk in to get them.

  • State law prohibits alcoholic beverages.

  • The Occoquan Reservior is a public water supply. There is no swimming or cox-tossing allowed. Violators are subject to qualification, fines, and ejection from the park.

  • No sales in the park property without written permission or a permit.

  • If you are coming as a spectator, we hope you have a wonderful time. If you are here as a competitor, best of luck in your events.
