The
George Mason University Equestrian Team (founded August, 2004)
represents the latest club sport founded at the University. With over
35 members participating in the first academic year alone, the
Equestrian Team is also the fastest
growing club sport at GMU. The team
represents a wide variety of skill levels, and practices the English
Hunter/Jumper form of riding.
All
members are registered with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA)
and are capable of competing against
other universities in the area. The
IHSA shows include different classes which tailor to a variety of skill
