Who Are the Mason Players?

Mason Players is a dynamic faculty-directed student organization and is the producing unit of the School of Theater. Students have the opportunity to apply their classroom training in live performance conditions. The Studio Series is selected, directed, and designed by students.

The Mainstage Series provide students the venue to work directly with faculty and guest artists. Mason students are the performers, stage managers, technical crews, dramaturgs, and assistants for both series. Casting for all productions is through auditions open to all Mason students who meet university academic standards for participation in extra curricular activities.

Information on design, technical, stage management, dramaturgy, and other production opportunities may be found via the technical positions link on this web site.

Participation in Mason Players productions may be applied for credit by registering for THR --- Play Production Practicum. Please see the Theater Department for details.
