"THE GLOBALIZATION OF CUBAN SOLIDARITY"
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new Cuban Solidarity
Globalization Network, a news, activist and information list. In the last
few months our list has played a crucial role in developing support to
end the embargo on Cuba.
It is our belief that the critical effects of the US blockade are an
issue of concern which CROSSES ALL NATIONAL BORDERS.
The Cuban Solidarity Globalization Network aims to:
Enhance the efforts by all groups and supporters in their dissemination
of information.
Mobilize the forces of coordinated grassroots, effectively lobbying
and applying pressure "inside the beltway" and on all key governmental
officials worldwide, for the unconditional end of the US blockade.
Share ideas, and collectively select optimal methods towards achieving
our goals.
Conduct a well coordinated public education campaign that provides accurate
and truthful information about Cuba.
At the close of this announcement is a suggested description of some
of the ways this list is utilized, and what goals can be achieved.
We welcome any input and will implement the ideas of others.
We encourage you to participate and contribute your expertise to this
list, and to also promote the list on your websites.
The support of academics and students is also essential to assist with
our planned fall 1998 launch of speakers on universitycampuses throughout
the US.
