We welcome submissions of unsolicited articles with the understanding that submitted articles should not have been previously published, and are not currently under consideration elsewhere. The journal invites manuscripts from law school professors, judges, practicing attorneys, students, teachers in other disciplines and practitioners in fields other than law. The journal's emphasis is on quality writing, clarity of expression, professional interests, style and substantive merit.

Favored submissions would be shorter than pieces which typically characterize law reviews. A bibliography is required, and footnotes must be limited to essential citations and commentary. The articles should be in Bluebook format.

The journal accepts hard copy or electronic submissions. For electronic submissions, please send an article in MS Word format to JLEPsubmit@gmu.edu. For paper submissions, please mail an IBM-compatible diskette and a hard copy to:
