OneVoice

Held: Tuesday, March 27, 2007

OneVoice is a grassroots movement working to engage Palestinians and Israelis in greater civic involvement.

OneVoice strives to empower the moderate majority of Israelis and Palestinians to take a more assertive role in resolving the conflict. OneVoice works to reframe the conflict, transcending the “left vs. right” and “Israeli vs. Palestinian” paradigms and revealing that the moderate majority can prevail over the absolutist vision of an extremist minority, which so often succeeds in derailing the peace process.

Israeli-Palestinian Panel Discussion

Held: Tuesday, February 20, 2007

featuring Daniel Levy, the lead Israeli drafter of the Geneva Accord, Ghaith Al-Omari, the lead Palestinian drafter of the Geneva Accord, and Ambassador Philip C. Wilcox, Jr, President of the Foundation for Middle East Peace, and former Chief-of-Mission and U.S. Consul General, Jerusalem.

Shabbat Dinner: Tikkun Olam and Pro Bono Work

Held: Friday, February 23, 2007

THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to making this our most successful Shabbat dinner yet!

It was great seeing everyone – students, professors, significant others, and friends.

We sincerely hope – armed with Judge Klein's powerful message of tikkun olam – that you will join us as we continue to work each day to build community both on and off campus.

May we remember to note the many blessings that have helped us be in law school. May we also remember that with this success comes the ability – and the responsibility – to engage and to contribute to making this campus/community/world a better, more hospitable place for us all.

Stay tuned for an upcoming pro bono project to be announced Fall 2007. If you would like to participate in planning, organizing, or volunteering for this project, please send us an e-mail.
