2011 Annual Culture Show: An Afternoon with Korean Culture:
The Korean Student Association presents the 2011 Korean Culture Show: An Afternoon with Korean Culture at George Mason University Ballroom. Founded in the 1990’s and reestablished in 2009, the Korean Student Association is honored to have you join us in our first annual culture show. This performance is made possible by the contributions of George Mason University, the 2010-2011 KSA Officer Team, General Active Members, and with the support from our sponsors, sister organizations including Filipino Cultural Association, Vietnamese Student Association, Immanuel Christian Fellowship, and Chinese Students & Scholars Association. We’d like to thank the KSA of our MKSO (Metropolitan Korean Student Organization) and VAKSA (Virginia Korean Student Association) universities. We’d like to specially recognize Dr. Shaoxian Yu, our faculty advisor, for his time and effort into helping us put on this show.

To promote Korean and American culture in order to build a strong community of leaders, lovers, and friends.

    3rd General Body Meeting

    Please come out and support the Korean-American Student Association. We will be discussing current events that are happening in Korea in addition to humanitarian issues and human rights violations in North Korea. As always, there will be some sort of icebreakers and mingling; don't be scared if it's your first time! We'd love to meet you.

    5th General Body Meeting

    Before finals, come out and spend some time with our fellow brothers and sisters. Just kick back and relax before the rush of finals. As the semester is coming to an end, We will be celebrating all of the birthdays that had occur during the summer and fall semesters. Please fill out a student sign-up sheet so that we have you in our database.

    1st General Body Meeting

    Our first general body meeting where you will be able to meet new people including our officer team, play games, munch on snacks, and be introduced to our upcoming school year, new events, and new programs. Great success and was able to meet a lot of new people!

    2nd General Body Meeting

    At this meeting, we will be assigning people an oppa, hyung, nuna, and unnie. Our family project will be further explained in detail. We will have snacks and play some traditional korean games.
