About us.

The George Mason University School of Law Moot Court Board is comprised of second, third, and fourth year law students and provides members with an opportunity to develop skills in appellate advocacy.  The Board prepares moot court teams for extramural competitions, including the National Moot Court Competition.

The Board also assists non-member George Mason Law students in developing their written and oral skills. Moot Court Board members also organize three annual intra-mural moot court competitions: the Upper Class Competition and the First Year Competition.

The Board also hosts an extramural competition, the Manne Law and Economics Moot Court Competition.  The competition seeks to enhance law school students’ understanding of the application of economic principles to legal problems.
