First Year Competition

The George Mason University School of Law Moot Court Board is pleased to host:

THE 2012 FIRST YEAR COMPETITION (FYC)
WHAT: The First Year Moot Court Competition is an appellate level oral argument competition. Students will compete iindividually. The problem for the competition involves the issues presented in this semester's LRWA II Trial Level Writing course. First year students enrolled in LRWA II are required to participate. 

WHEN & WHERE: The preliminary rounds of the competition will take place at GMUSL on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The advancing rounds as well as the Quarterfinal and Semifinal rounds will also take place at GMUSL, the following Saturday, March 31, 2012. The final round will take place at the Alexandria Courthouse on Friday, April 13, 2012.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: All first year George Mason law students are required to participate. 

MORE INFORMATION: More information about the competition will be released through the LRWA II course. Any information sessions will be posted here.
