Dr. Abbott gave a talk entitled "Controlling Chaotic Activity in Neural Networks". In addition, both NGSO members and various Krasnow PIs had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Abbott one on one or in small groups. Breakfast and lunch provided opportunities for all NGSO members to chat with Dr. Abbott more informally and to hear some of his interesting experiences from early in his career as a physicist and his time spent in neuroscience up to today.
