Club History
The George Mason University Orienteering Club (GMU OC) was founded in November, 1999. Since then the GMU OC was recognized as one of the fastest growing organization in George Mason University. In 1999, members of our club have already won two national titles. In 2000 we won the 3rd place as a team in the inter-collegiate championships held in Lillington, North-Carolina. In 2002 we took the second place in inter-collegiate championships in Chicago. We also participated in 2004. Recently the club diminished in size, because many members graduated. We are looking for new energetic members!
