The Vietnamese Student Association at Mason serves the mason community, the Vietnamese community, and the Asian-American community through philanthropy, sporting, and social events. VSA hosts many events throughout the year promoting culture, team bonding, and personal development.

GMU VSA is a part of the Mid-Atlantic Union of VSA (MAUVSA) and is working together with other schools across VA, MD, and the DC metropolitan area. MAUVSA is also part of an even larger entity, the Union of North American Vietnamese Student Association (UNAVSA). Together they work collaboratively on many collective philanthropy projects.
