Women in Neuroscience (W.I.N.) is a student organization at George Mason University focused on promoting the study of neuroscience and advancing opportunities for students interested in the field. We achieve this aim by participating in community activities, attending conferences and seminars, providing study help, and holding informational sessions with individuals in the field, either personally or through videoconferencing.

Club meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of the month at 3:00 in the Arch Lab in David King Hall. At meetings, we discuss future activities, club promotion, and conduct video conferences.

All students are invited and welcome to join; you don't need to be a woman, neuroscience major, or pay any dues to join W.I.N. You can submit a request to become a member on our Contact Page.

Linda Maguire founded W.I.N. in 2010, and the organization was priviledged enough to receive GMU's Distinguished Quill "Best Eduational Program" Award in that academic year. Visit the '10-'11 site here.
