About

The PARKme system is designed to offer university users real-time information concerning parking space availability on campus.  This system will provide users with details as to the availability of spaces based on the users needs and will collect data for future research as to how to best optimize

Problem Statement

"Finding a parking space at the university is a common frustration for communters at the GMU campus.  Finding the parking space that best suits your needs can be very time consuming and often times the "drive around looking method" does not result in the best space.  Campus parking lots are often overcrowded during peak times making parking a guessing game and a matter of luck."

What is this?

This website is designed to document and display the process used to develop the design of the PARKme system.  This system is the focus of our SYST 798 capstone project course through George Mason University.
