The Print Services Department of George Mason University, established in 1978, was created to facilitate and centralize duplicating operations on campus. Since then, the department has grown to become one of the most recognized and respected campus duplication departments on the East Coast. In order to provide additional service to the campus community, Print Services follows the educational mission of the University; Copyright Assistance provides assistance to professors needing usage of copyrighted materials for inclusion in course packets.

Print Services is partnered with corporations such as Meridian Imaging Solutions, Ricoh, Xerox, and Panasonic. It remains on the leading edge of technological advances in order to fulfill the needs of all academic, administrative and affiliated departments of the University.

The department employs a customer-oriented management style that strives for excellence in quality and service, allowing it to remain a leader in its field today and for years to come. Print Services currently operates four full-service Copy Centers on its three campuses as well a Copyright Assistance Office. All public coin and card-operated copiers, as well as Pay-for Print services, on campus are also owned and maintained by Print Services.
