The GMU Security Review Panel (SRP) was formed in 1994 to oversee the GMU Responsible Use of Computing (RUC) Policy. The SRP serves the GMU community by interpreting the policy, proposing and reviewing amendments, helping resolve complaints about misuse of GMU computing resources, getting those involved in abusive behavior to stop it, serving as a buffer between GMU students and various campus authorities, and working for the security and integrity of the campus networks on which so many people depend.
