CHSS and COS
undergraduate students may request reserve graduate credit for
classes numbered 500-699 only. These requests should be submitted to our office
at least two weeks prior to the start of the requested course to allow adequate time for review.
If permission is granted, it does not imply approval for admission
into a graduate program at George Mason or elsewhere. The following
criteria also apply:
| • |
Students
must be seniors at George Mason within 15 hours of
graduation |
| • |
Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.000 or higher at GMU |
| • |
Students
can accumulate a maximum of *six*
total hours of reserve graduate credit within their undergraduate
career. This is a non-negotiable university limit that our
office strongly supports, and we do not waive it. |
| • |
A grade
of A or B must be earned in the course to be applicable to
the graduate program — if the student is later admitted |
