Judith Adkins

Judith Adkins, the program's Personal Statement Specialist, is available to assist students with application essays. She has taught history and writing and held several editorial positions in academic publishing. She double majored in English and history at Duke University, holds a Ph.D. in history from Yale University, and is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Creative Writing at George Mason.

To make an appointment, register with the Writing Center and use its on-line scheduling system (http://writingcenter.gmu.edu). From the "Choose a Location" drop-down menu, select the Enterprise location designated "PGFS Students Only." Please email a draft of your essay to jadkins5@gmu.edu at least 24 hours before your appointment.
