Diving into the Mysteries of Coral Disease

The coral reefs are dying and Mason researchers like Geoff Cook are trying to find out why. Working with microbial ecologist Robert Jonas, Cook has been analyzing the bacterial communities associated with the coral disease, known as white plague II.
