BINF 401 - Bioinformatics and Computational Biology I

Credits: 3 (NR)

The course covers the following topics and related methodology: protein sequence, structure prediction, and modeling methods; nucleic acid sequence and structure prediction; gene structure prediction in prokaryotes and eukaryotes; elements of system biology. Students will learn programming approaches to solve bioinformatics problems.

 

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 231, IT 108, IT 208, STAT 344.
