IT 304 - IT in the Global Economy

Credits: 3 (NR)
Explores how IT changed nature of society and contributed to evolution of global economy. Examines changing nature of work, education, and communication, and ethical issues such as intellectual property rights, computer-related crime, privacy concerns, and public policy issues.

Fulfills general education requirement in information technology (ethics only).

Prerequisite(s): IT 103 or equivalent; or permission of department. Prerequisite enforced by registration system.

Notes: Students cannot receive credit for both IT 304 and CS 306.
