This program combines foundation courses in education with courses in the principles and practices of nursing education. It prepares students to function in nursing educational roles in academic and nonacademic settings.
Application Requirements
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in nursing. Applicants must meet the admissions standards and application requirements specified in the Admission chapter of the catalog and apply using the online Application for Graduate Admission. The application process is competitive, and applications are considered for the fall and spring semesters. Certificate Requirements
Candidates must have 15 graduate credits and a minimum GPA of 3.00 in course work, with no more than 3 credits with a grade of C to earn the certificate. Notes:
Students who qualify for a 3-credit practicum because of their educational experience may choose the remaining 3 credits from courses designated by the graduate nursing program. |
