Minor Requirements

The minor in Systems Engineering and Operations Research consists of 15 credit hours of coursework. The specific requirements are as follows:

Two required SEOR courses:

SYST 101 - Understanding Systems Engineering Credits: 3 or SYST 210 - Systems Design Credits: 3
SYST 473 - Decision and Risk Analysis Credits: 3

Three additional courses from the following:

SYST 371 - Systems Engineering Management Credits: 3
SYST 460 - Introduction to Air Traffic Control Credits: 3
SYST 461 - Air Transportation System Engineering Credits: 3
SYST 469 - Human Computer Interaction Credits: 3 or
SYST 470 - Human Factors Engineering
Credits: 3
OR 335 - Discrete Systems Modeling and Simulation Credits: 3
OR 441 - Deterministic Operations Research Credits: 3 or
MATH 441 - Deterministic Operations Research
Credits: 3
OR 442 - Stochastic Operations Research Credits: 3 or
MATH 442 - Stochastic Operations Research
Credits: 3
OR 481 - Numerical Methods in Engineering Credits: 3 or
MATH 446 - Numerical Analysis I
Credits: 3
