The Thai Student Association at George Mason University is a student-run, inclusive organization established to unite Thai students, Thai Americans, and anyone who is interested in Thailand throughout the University and Northern Virginia area with the view of strengthening solidarity along with cultural, social, and intellectual cooperation.
To unite the students within the University by encouraging interactions and awareness between the cultural aspects of Thailand and the United States of America.
To cooperate with the local American and Thai community by organizing community service projects.
To develop and preserve the ties between the Thai community and the George Mason community.
To stress the importance of cultural and traditional continuity in Thai-Americans.
To provide support in cultural and social adaptation to incoming and currently enrolled George Mason students of Thai ethnicity.
To supplement the diversity and distinctiveness of the University's population.

We're taking a Sunday trip to the Thai Temple! This is a great opportunity to experience one of the neatest traditions of Thai people: Making Merits! We'll meet in Lot K around 10AM so that we can leave Mason promptly at 10:15AM. We should be done by 2PM or so at the very latest.
