Mary Cunningham

Mary Cunningham is the associate director of marketing and communications for the College. She loves supporting the College and its faculty by promoting faculty research and spotlighting faculty, student, and alumni achievements in various online channels. Growing up in Fairfax, Mary is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful Mason community that she has seen thrive over the years.

With more than a dozen years of experience, Mary is a strategic communicator specializing in educational communications. She has a passion for strategic planning and writing and experience in communications of all forms: branding, crisis communication, project management, photography, design, social media, and more. Before joining Mason, she communicated for a variety of DC-area independent schools.
