Mason's Bookstore sells textbooks and course materials online before the semester starts.
We strongly encourage all students to purchase their textbooks and course materials online prior to the start of the semester for home delivery.
As of January 18, online orders might take up to 48 hours to process because of high volume and staffing shortages.
We anticipate quicker processing times after the first week of classes.
Once your textbooks and course materials are available, order them immediately to ensure they arrive on time. Create an account and do not check out as a guest. Registered users can better track their orders and make changes to shipping if needed. The bookstore is offering free ground shipping on orders of $75 or more.
If you get a "course materials pending" note when placing an order, that means the bookstore has not received book information from an instructor. You can still place an order, and when the information is available, your order will be filled.
You can get a full refund in your original form of payment if textbooks are returned during the first week of classes with original receipt.
With proof of a schedule change and original receipt, you can get a full refund in your original form of payment during the first 30 days of classes.
All materials must be in their original condition. Don't open shrink-wrapped packages or activate any online access codes until you are absolutely sure you will need these items.
If you choose to buy your course materials in person at a Mason Bookstore, remember that everyone on our campuses, even if fully vaccinated, must wear a mask when inside university facilities.
